It was great!
I havn't read the book but I absoloutly loved the movie!
Have you read the book? It seems obvious that many who have read the book have been very disappointed -because much of the story was changed.
However I know people how have read the book and still loved the movie.
My advice to movie-go-ers:
Don't be turned away from watching the movie because of extreme negative reviews/comments by the "public pre-movie book readers". (They're just trying to take out on the movie as much as possible because their story is ruined -which is understandable.)
As a movie alone however, Eragon is very well done. I loved it.
I mean don't expect something extreme like Lord of the Rings, but it's still good.
I really hope you enjoy it. :)
Further advice:
Watch the movie FIRST before reading the book. Enjoy the book later. (...then you can avoid any possible disappointment.)

P.S I probably love it more than the average person though, because I particularily love adventure/fantasy.

All they seemed to do was run around. I almost thought that they'd run into the characters from Lord of the rings(all they did in the two towers movie) He had a dragon, der just fly there. And it really didn't give you a feel for the character even though its a two hour movie. But it was better than some.
