Salman has a sequence in the movie where he is giving a speech in front of movie legends, and he addresses Amitabh n Dharmender as "Amit" and "Dharam", and also to Mumtaz and Meena kumari by just as "Mumtaz" and "Meena" ....I found this as showing no respect to the senior movie legends...

Think in a practical way.........we all call their name without "Ji" or Sir or Madame. You willl all people talk "Yaar Amitabh ki nayi film dekhi kya? "Dharmender ne kya kaam kiya hai yaar" we dont talk like "Amitabhi Ji ki new film dekhi kya" ? Think in practical way.....

In Bombay it has become a fashion to call elders by their name.
Elders also ask youngers to call them by their name only. In that way they live in the fantasy that they have become very very young.
