A SalesPerson is knowlegable about the product and is trained to sell. An order taker writes orders that are given or provided.

An order taker accepts and records an order to be filled but usually doesn't answer questions. A salesperson answers questions about what they sell where they work.

A sales person tries to make sales.

An order taker, doesn't really try to make sales, but only takes the order once they have already decided.

a sales person is the person that negotiates for a sale of item or services. whikle an order taker simply process the sale of the item or service, meaning the client has alreaddy decided, the order taker processes it.
