I don't mean to be combative; I really want to understand a different opinion.

What do scientists and politicians have to gain by fabricating data and propagating a hoax? And what do the citizens of the world have to lose by operating under the assumption that we influence climate change? What if you're wrong in your opinion that humans have nothing to do with it? Is this a risk you're willing to take?

Yes, it is a risk I'm willing to take. To answer your last question first.

I don't think it's any of that stuff. I think it's very simple a natural occurrence for a planet to warm over time.

I'm not saying I'm not going to do anything about it, but I don't think it is cause for panic.

What happens if we spend billions of dollars to "right" global warming, and our efforts actually cause more harm than good? What happens if we are fighting the very planet we are trying to save?

I think we are very naive when it comes to planetary "health." Considering we haven't found a cure for the common cold, I think trying to save the planet is still out of our realm of expertise.

First all you trying to save the globe are actually going to kill us
First heard scientist on radio other day saying we could be in ice age again today but there are not enough water vapors in the atmosphere.Whats going to happen when everyone go to hydrogen power cars etc. they claim only byproduct is water vapor.Second we had a global cool down in the mid seventy's they figured out it was do to coal dust in the atmosphere the particles reflected the sun causing cooling.TO sum up if we really want to stop the warm up save planet we should fire up all the old coal plants sitting around now.Electric cars would work To make energy we spin things windmills etc. So why can't they make electric cars ? Theresa 4 spinning tires to produce energy?
could even put strips in road that ca neck to power lines to carry any excess energy the car don't need imagine if all the cars on the road to where producing energy.what would you do with it all.
O they gain power and money.
