I have administrator access, I just can't remember where to go to change this setting.

You need to change your password protect settings:

1. On your desktop right click a blank space > select Properties
2. tab Screensaver > frame screensaver
3. UNcheck "On resume password protect".
4. Click Apply

You may also be experiencing an issue with fast user switching. Go to Start>Control Panel> Users. Click the button that says change how users log in. Remove the check box next to the fast user switching option :)

Here is an article from Microsoft telling you how to auto log off users. See if that screensaver they are talking about is on the machine and disable it.

go to your desktop, on a free area right click into properties, choose the screen-saver tab above then undo the thick in the tiny box in front of the sentence "On resume, display on the welcome screen."
