I thought I could just get certified as a registered nurse and get a job in a pediatricians office now iI have found information on pediactric nurses and that there are classes for that do I have to take just those classes or do I take the RN classes and then the PNP classes or are just the RN classes ok?

Hi i have been an rn for 15 years first you would have to get you 2 year degree in nursing and work in a hospital setting as an rn. You could take classes toward your pnp while working as an rn. You could also work in a pediactric er that would give you alot of different expeirences......first start towards getting your rn though
