You cannot see your house at prsent unless your house is named as white house or any other famous house in the world. This is because the satelite fotos can zoom into an area and perhaps give you an birds eye view of about 100 meters from ground level. If you look at such a satelite foto and if you are not a professional decoder then you can identify your location of your house from the prominent landmarks that maybe visibile in the satelite foto. Once u identify ur house location, then u can add the name of that location, so that the nexttime u view it, u can easily zoom on to the house location.

You enter your adress and it gives you the option of seeing your house in a satelite pic. Keep in mind that many of these pictures were taken years ago, and then bought by various companies. Google earth for example, showed my car in front of my house... even though it got stolen a year ago.
