Well, people in Italy has mixed blood.
Many of them have African ancestry.
Remember the Egyptians? In a matter of fact
some people in Europe are not as pure race as
you think. Because of society, everyone that is mixed
want to hide that fact. It is a shame.

What do you mean by looking like Latino? Don't you know latino is not a race, that Latin America is multiracial? By the way, there are lots of Latin Americans that are descendants of Italians, like Manu Ginobili.

WRONG!!! The ancient Romans were often olive-skinnned , sometimes swarthy, but later on they were invaded and mixed heavily with genes of the Germanic Barbarian invaders, with white skin, blond hair and often blue eyes.
today's Italians are quite fair and quite varied. some look downright Celtic or Germanic.
And this is true of Spanish Iberians also. they mixed with the blond Germanic goths.
You only see what you want to see. You don't recognize all the fair ones with pale white skin and Germanic features.

You're mistakenly thinking that caucasian means white. Quite the contrary. Caucasian is an umbrella term that can mean anyone from northern India, to the Middle East, to Germany.

They are very white in the northern part of the country.. they become darker as you travel south.. those in Sicily are very dark.. One must remember the trade routes with Africa.. there was much mixing of races in the historical past. Voluntarily or otherwise. Rome was the center of the trade routes so spanish people would be included in such travel.
