Are desk chairs made still that have only 4 legs?

I need a chair with 4 legs not 5 and no arms.

Yes... you can still get desk chairs with only 4 legs, and no arms. You can find them at department stores, office supply stores, etc. (OfficeMax, Office Depot, Sam's Club, Staples, Target, WalMart, etc)

I will say this much.... a chair with 5 legs is more stable than a 4 leg chair....less likely to tip over. When I have a choice between the two... I get the 5 leg chair.

Another option might be to consider a kitchen/dining chair.
