How can I transfer music from cassettes to cd?

I have a boat load of tapes that I don't want to get rid of until the music on them is stored on discs.

Use audio cable to link tape player to PC's line-in port.

Run audio recording program such as the free Audacity (look for it yourself) and record all the tracks.

Cut each song and save as MP3 or WAV

Get audio CD burning program and burn songs to CD (too many out there, try a few freebies yourself)
