Well, it wasn't destroyed moments later, but I decorated a hall with balloons (including an archway) for New Years, and everything was destroyed minutes after midnight. The hall was a dismal mess for the rest of the party.

Something tangible, yes, but I don't remember.
I spent a lot of time writing e-mails to people I wronged during a very bad time in my life. And those people completely ignored me. (OK, so not moments. More like a few months.) It really hurt because it took me years to finally forgive myself, then apologize to them.
But I guess they aren't ready to forgive me yet, and that's the part that sucks.

Yes. Once when I was a kid I had just finished a paint-by-number picture and while it was still wet, the cat we had at the time sat on it. My only consolation was that cat walked around with a multi-colored butt for days :)

Yes! One time I built an impressive card house in my bedroom. It spanned most of my floor, part of my bed, and even my dresser. I carefully opened up my door to grab a camera so I could take a picture of my masterpiece, and my cat ran in. Everything collapsed. Ooh, I was so mad!

Yes. I restored a car to new condition and my girlfriend wrecked it a week later out of spite. It took me 2 and a half years to finish. I was deeply hurt.
