I downloaded a movie and the file Extension is DIVX, how do I burn it on to a blank DVD so i can watch it? Please help me!

u need a blank CD, a video recordable CD to be precise. they're really cheap you can buy them anywhere..like borders, raleys and stuff like that. insert the disk, and if u have windows media player, just click file and Burn. of not you can also download a program called Sonic. U need a CD no matter what though

to burn it as a dvd it needs to be "authored" ie put into a format your domestic dvd player can use apart from the file structure the major difference will be coverting your divx to mpeg2 format - you need to find dvd authoring software that will accept divx as the input file type

Open the finalized project in iMovie and select iDVD from the Share menu. This will open up iDVD which allows you to create a DVD viewable on standard players. It allows you to create menus and all that as well. iDVD is part of iLife so is already installed on your computer.

Go to www.download.com and download divx. With that software you can burn dvd's.
