I could answer on many different levels. I think I have an upbeat, sparkly voice, but people say I speak softly and am very calming. I feel like I am darker skinned, but I'm actually a bit pale. I'm the happiest gal on the block, but I have a natural "frown" on my face. Many people think I'm in my mid to late twenties, but nah...tack on ten or so more years. People think I'm a hard worker, very creative and driven, but I'm really a lazy **** at heart. Good question!

The difference between how others see me and how i see myself is that i am brimming with self esteen and i really do not care about what other people think. The difference between how the world sees me is that the world judges on a superficial level, and does not take into consideration the way someones personality is.The world only sees the outside when it judges most people.

Well I'm not a mind reader, so I'm not sure how I'm perceived by others. I can't answer your question unless I know how someone sees me, and then I can tell you the biggest difference between his/her perception, and how I see myself.

Well, I know this doesn't directly pertain to your answer, but there is common ground. Using George Herbert Mead's theory of the "Looking-Glass Self", we find that part of our perceptions of ourselves is based on how we perceive others to perceive us. So I may think I'm a rude person if I think that others would perceive my actions to be rude. Something to think about

Dear Digeridu,
Most times we judge people automatically on how they look or seem rather than choosing to really look at someone for who they really are. We dont mean to but it's just human nature, we need to choose to look into others and see them as something other than what we judge them by. We should never care what people think of us, only what we think of ourselves.

People always tell me, "Oh your so smart, funny, caring, pretty, a great people person, and that I light up a room when I come in".
I just see myself a a regular person, and I like to sit back quite and just observe.

We tend to measure ourselves by looking at those people we like as role models Example business success family and relationship success sporting achievments etc.Others tend to see us as we are or look to critisize us for what we are not.

I have to use a mirror to see myself. Other people can see me without a mirror.
