I just press all the buttons. I remember when I went to the Apple Store what they did was press the center and the play button together. I have an Ipod video.

I always swear at it, let the battery run down and then plug it in and start it up again. It always does it when I try to play an audible file.

this is what they said to do. it was either hold down the play button and push the middle button a few times entell it restarts or it was hold the middle and push the play button entell it restarts

wait for it to die then plug it back into your computure to chage and then it should work
