you are going to have to do some foot work.. I mean. get out and see whats out there.. Go to church socials (even if you arent that religious) its still a great place to meet good people.
Go to little theater productions, look in the paper and find little arts and craft shows to visit, just start talking to these folks.
volunteer at food shelters. go to sport events and strike up a conversation with anyone.. the more people you meet, the more you will get invited to other places and meet more people. go to the library, sit in the open places and read newspapers or magazines. there might be someone to strike up a conversation with..

Hell if I know. Im 26 and cant seem to find a guy that isnt a coke head or a meth head. I dont party either. Im a hot, samrt good girl. post back if you figure it out. My mom says church. That didnt work too well for me. Pick myself up a holier-than-thou meth head. Jesus loves all of his children...blah blah blah

you have to market yourself, there is plenty of action at parents without partners, everybody is looking, look sharp, dress sharp, be sharp and everybody will want you. Good luck
