2. delhi air quality has become better, bangalore's gone down a lot. Delhi also got more overbridges, mumbai got even larger numbers and overbridges in bangalore are multiplying.
3. national highways became better, quadrilateral NH project you know.
4. BPO industry at nascent stage in 1999, now its threatening to overtake IT industry self.

Better Roads, even in villages. (To transport milk etc).
Electronic gadgets in millions being used.
and so many other things,
but the health hygeine pollution, both smoke and noise.. is worsening.
Hospitals in worse to worse conditions.
