Aren't Turkey and Egypt democracies?
Lebanon is a fledgeling democracy, albeit a threatened one at that...
So, what are you talking about?

What country are you from? English is not your first language, but not a bad try.
I don't see Bush as buddy buddy with any Arab leader, but I don't know what point you are trying to make.
The Muslim world has never lived under democracy and will never be an American-like democracy (or what we think of as democracy). It is our greatest hope, for our own need as well as for the people of Iraq, that they can maintain a government with an elected 'president' instead of a tyrant or dictator. Elected officials are not able to oppress, commit mass murder and people can live in some semblance of calm or peace. Not something these countries are familiar with. Will it last?? Time will tell.

First off, I dont quite know what you mean about President Bush and the whole champion of democracy and the Muslim world. I believe that President Bush's foreign policy needs to be changed. In my opinion, he goes about things the wrong way when it concerns foriegn countries such as Iraq. He really needs to think about things that are going on in his own country before starting a police action with another country. We have terrorism in the United States. Violence, Gangs, Murders, etc. Our country is heading down a path that it doesnt need to go down. You dont see other head of nations marching in on other countries and making a police action out of false facts. Bush is now in so deep that he cant go back. He needs to finish what he started but he needs to finish it the right way and not the wrong way. Many of his cabinet members felt the same and they knew that nothing was going to happen and that is why they stepped down. Ex: Rumsfeld, Powell, etc.

i feel that democracy is a lame excuse to invade countries....and plus it's not like the US is actually following the ideals of a democracy....the present democracy we have is far from what our constitution was built upon....anways alot of foreign countries have puppet leaders controlled by you know who....rather obvious what is happening in the world to today.....nothing but corruption for the whole of humanity except the few...at the end of the day who cares about so many Muslims who die in Iraq, Lebanon, Palestince etc....as long as we have the power and money, these are the policies....

Bush calls his war, "Operation Iraqie Freedom".
However, were they not, "free", when they found Saddam, and removed him from power?
Why are we still there?
Why were we there to start with?
The people of Iraq claim that they were happier, under the rule of Saddam, than of George W. Bush.
This war of "freedom" has already lasted longer than all of World War II.

I think most Americans have forgotten why we got into this war to begin with. Freedom, ours, not theirs.
don't be nieve, the middle east won't stop with hitting a few buildings in NY and DC, they want ALL America's blood.

Yes, and the Palestinians as well. They seem to be able to hold elections without our help.
