... you should 1. talk to her ... thats the first step.
then you should probably find out what she is interested in and then ask if she would like to go do something with you ... mind you this part takes time .. id say 2 weeks is a good timeframe.
then keep being friends with her and drop little hints that you like her that way... give her little compliments like ... " have i told you how beautiful you are today? " ... my boyfriend makes an attempt to keep track and each day he trys to meet his quota ... its cute =) .. anywayz back to you .... just the little things that show her you pay attention to her will give you brownie points....

1. Smile - Practice smiling everytime you pass a mirror, yes a big smile.
2. Smile at most girls you see.
3. See if they smile back.
4. The next thing is to say hi if you see a girl more often.
5. Then if she smiles and says hi back, ask a question.
6. The one who asks a question leads into the conversation with the good attitude, and of course that smile.

I don't know how you will feel about my answer because I have been divorced for the last four years, but I asked my ex-husband to marry me after dating for four months. And even though we divorced, it was not hostile. Matter of fact, we are great friends...well actually best friends. What didn't come out as life long partners blossomed into life long partners if you get what I mean. The divorce was the best thing for the both of us at the time and it served us well in the end. There is nothing wrong with pursuing a man. Most of the time, they need the extra help. Go for yours! And whom ever authored that book may have gone through a series of bad relationships and now "she" is trying to throw her trashy life on someone else's shoulders! Good luck girl!

Just talk to em, say hi, introduce yourself and ask their name. If you get a positive response then ask for their number and out for date. If she blows you off then just don't take it personally. Way i see it there is billions of people on the planet, your bound to attract a percentage. It also depends, if your asking for a relationship then you want different kind of girl. If is a one night stand pretty much anything goes. You can say your a astronaut if you think it'll get you laid as long as its a one night thing. You don't want to have to keep up the lie.
If for a serious relationship then i suggest treat your girl like you want her to treat you, its about respect man if you can't respect the person your with how can you ever love them. Don't fight over small things.
