This is her second offense. Do you think she will have to serve 5 days in jail or jet off w/ a fine, probation and community service?

Her attorney, if he is a good one, will ask the court that she be allowed treatment for her "addiction." She'll get to go to rehab and get community service. If she doesn't shape up real fast after this time, she will do some jail time. Remember Robert Downey Jr.? The word is PRISON.

To the responder who claims the government doesn't have any balls, don't even think they won't trash her life if given half the chance. Any leniency a prosecutor shows her is completely political. Her celebrity status means nothing to them. If they someday want to become a judge or a district attorney, they need to have hefty prosecution records to prove their clout in a courtroom.

Lucky for Richie, there is a check and balance in the system. Prosecutors also have self serving purposes and need the approval of the wealthy and influential people in the community if they ever want to run for office, which many of them do. Hollywood has a lot of persuasive power and money if they like you, and in this town that means everything!!! Depending on how ambitious the prosecutor, and what his career goals are, they have to think about that long and hard before sending someone like Richie up the river. Trust me!!

Celebrities get special treatment, so watch her lawyers strike a deal where she won't have to spend him in jail. She'll probably end up doing a public announcement or community service.

Haha yeah right. She'll get her nice little fine and skip right back into the night-clubs.. But if she were sent to jail I have to admit I'd be slightly surprised the government finally grew some.

it truly is a comic book tale...those women make a mockery of the criminal gadget... Did she imagine she replaced into at a modeling consultation for the duration of her mug shot? She shouldn't were smiling. inebriated/drugged utilizing is somewhat no longer humorous and that i do not imagine those who've lost loved ones using it idea so both. shame on her......i'm particular she does no longer imagine it replaced into too humorous if something happend to her baby because of a inebriated motive force now would she?

Probably. She's got the money and connections. Celebrities get away with murder (see O.J. and Robert Blake). It's not fair but true!
