I've been thinking..and from all the interviews and performances and stuff that I've watched..well I realized today that My Chemical Romance has really grown up this time. If you compare their interviews and even their albums to past ones, you can really tell. It kinda makes me sad, in a way. But I guess I'm proud of them too. How about you?

I totally agree with you. It seems like the band has matured, and it's almost unwanted. I still love them, of course, but I honestly prefer when they were a bit less... almost, uptight-seeming. Like they've been thrust into the public eye now and feel the need to grow up. I'm sorry, I'm not very good at expressing what I think- but yes, I agree with you. To be honest- I, randomly, miss the old Mikey right now.

They matured adn got wiser,, Gerard is no longer an alcohalic or drug user, Frank has gotten mature but is still funny as hell and crazy.. Ray Bob adn Mikey all talk more in interviews... adn tons more.. theyve matured as a band too... listen to their music from the first album adn second,.,, then listen to the new one.. awesome album concepts and lyrics... their music talent has gotten better too.. AMAZING.. but yea it is sad because when you read interviews or watch they dont.. joke around.. they are more serious.. and i perosnally think its because of all the **** they went through in the making of The Black Parade. but the interview thing is alot the interviewers fault.. they dont ask those weird personal questions really anymore BUT I STILL LOVE YOU MCR FOREVER AND ALWAYS *matt too : )*

Yeah, but I really like their new mature sound but yeah it's kinda like when you realize a friend has changed and you're still the same. Your sad but happy for them.

Yeah. They've stopped acting like whiny teenagers. What a shame.
