Not a toy believe it or not. My grandmother would buy me a new flannel nightgown and fuzzy slippers every year, I looked forward to these more than anything. No matter how bad a day I had I could always snuggle up in those cozy jammies and remember how much my grandmother loved me. She never had an ill word to say to anyone and always made you feel special and important. I miss her very much.

You're so funny, kid.
I love ya.
Anyhoo, I received a little red fire engine one Christmas. I was 2 or 3 and my Mom sat me inside and reached in there to place my footsies on the pedals to operate it. I was never much good at making it go, but I LOVED that little red fire engine. If I saw it today, I'd probably try to get inside and drive it, get stuck and fall over bawling like a baby. Just for fun, ya know?
So do underoos still make your day now that you're all grown and stuff, sista girl?

A doll that talked. It replaced right into a lifesize, about 25 inches or so, infant looking. It reported 10 words, went to sleep if no longer performed with, requested for a bottle etcI loved it. i replaced into like 5 or 6. I actually were given this little garfield filled toy that I slept with for years. except for those 2 I dont somewhat keep in concepts what I were given for christmas, and that i used to get a good type of stuff. is going to exhibit you that its no longer the stuff that concerns, youthful ones dont keep in concepts it, its the time and issues we did at the same time that I keep in concepts, figuring out on the continually stay tree ( maximum circumstances somewhat reducing it down) the christmas dinner, baking gingerbread residences and so on

It was a rocking horse (spring horse I'd call it now) big plastic horse on a frame with springs attached on 4 sides, I saw one today while buying high priced electronics--an older man (Grampa?) was buying it for some lucky little person. No need for quarters--just jump on and ride to your hearts content!. I rode that thing daily until I wore out the springs, it cracked and broke in half (I cried and insisted on keeping the front half). I think I was 5!! I still love those spring horses!! They need to make adult versions!!!

I got a plush polka-dotted elephant like from the Rudolph movie. I loved it, because I just knew I was the one who had rescued it from the Island of Misfit Toys. It made me feel great!

Mine was my Barbie and the Rocker car that had a radio in the back trunk that you could plug into the "Dressing Room" set up and it would play music in there!
Gosh - those were good times....

My favorite gift was my first bike. It was pink with white stars and a white seat. It was called the Star Rider, or something like that. That bike was awesome!

When I was 8 years old, my grandfather gave me a beautiful silver charm bracelet. A year later he passed away, so its sentimental value increased after that.
