Purley Hypothetical Situation:
you live a happy life with your significant other in the city,you married you are a God-fearing, hurch going,believer.you converted your other before getting married to the same religion.2 years later you wake up, look out the window and the sky is blood red,the sun is gone, no clouds the only light comes from the 110 degree heat radiating layer of unknow fog down from the sky.the earth smells like a garbage compund.it's judgement day, the day God comes back and we all come before the white throne of judgement.we blink,and there we are.you AND your spouse are standing before God on his throne. the book of life open in front of him.he speaks to you,and says "well done, good and faithful servant,enter"he then turns to your wife,and says "i knew you not!".you then realize your spouse never converted, ust fronted to get married.God makes you an offer,do you take your spouse's place in a lake of fire for all eternity, or do you claim what is rightfully yours?

I understand that it's hypothetical but I don't believe that a true follower would be allowed to go to hell according to the bible so taking your spouse's place would not be an option.

According to the Bible I don't believe the choice will be offered. Each will stand on their own, or so I am told. Although all of this makes no sense to me. Why would god make man, give him free will, and then punish him for using it. Why not just make men to only worship god, oh yeah, those are angels.

you take the place of your spouse in the fires of hell. Perhaps God will see it as a selfless act made out of the same love that Jesus had for humanity and be moved take your place along side your spouse.

If I cant be with my wife I dont want to be ''in heaven''.
