What state are you in? In Missouri, at 17 you make your own choices. And everyone else needs to lay off.
Yes, 17 is very young, but at least you're making an attempt to give your child a normal environment. It can be stressful trying to raise a child with your mother breathing down your neck. Hang in there, and good for you for trying to do what's right. Good luck with your baby.

usually you have to wait until you are 18 to be considered legally independent(adult) but once you have a child of your own you are considered independent because you are a parent and already have legal responsibility of another life. Like many of the other advisers suggested, I think you should wait till eighteen at least, unless home is inhospitable and verbally or physically abusive, don't move just cause you and mom don't always agree. If you have a pretty good home life take advantage of the support and stay in school and graduate, then go to a local college. If your man loves you he'll wait, it will be better for your family's future to be separate for awhile and have good educations and jobs than to be together and struggling for food and rent.

If your parents are good with you moving out and in with him then i don't think you can get in trouble if he is already on the birth certificate then it wouldn't matter. but if your parents don't want you to then just stick it out. YOu might even be happy that you did because your mom is going to be more of a help to yuo than the daddy. I will never be able to thank my mom for all of the help she gave me when i had my first ( iwas 18 but stayed with her for his first 6 months of my sons life) and boy was it great to have her there she seemed to know it all because she had already been through it and she loved it. I don't ever remember seeing her that happy and i bet your mom is the same.
good luck

Untill you are 18 it is up to your parents or the court. By the time you petition the court and have a hearing you will be 18 any way and out a lot of money. I'd wait it out.

Definitely wait! If he really cares for you and his baby, he would wait too. You are very young ( I am sure you have heard this already), but it is true. I have been with mine since I was 19 and wish I waited at longer...

Wait another year, you have it made at home even if you dont think so. Living with your boyfriend is not going to be a dream as you may think.

Here in Texas at 17 you're an adult. So move to Texas. Also I hear once you have a baby you are considered an adult I dunno if thats everywhere or just here.
