I don't see Cuban Americans leaving any time soon, until there is real reform in Cuba and I think initially at least there would be more of an influx of Cubans until the point where they can no longer seek political asylum (i.e. once there are free elections there, opposing political parties, private property, etc.)

Opening up relations might get us Cuban cigars. What Cubans need is to have their communist government overthrown so that they will be free again.

I think those who still have property and families there may go back, however those without ways to make a living there, will probably bring their families here. Goodbye Florida.

We shouldn't use the argument that we don't have relatives with them because of the fact they are communist, once you notice how plenty commerce we do with China. that's in basic terms that politicians can no longer possibility dropping the Florida votes that impression an election.
