okay so i wrote this poem for a friend who lost her best friend i told her i would write her one so tell me if you think its good or not.......
today i called your name
but you weren't there
i talked to god and
told him it was unfair
who do i blame
why was it you
i closed my eyes in shame
until he told me what to do
"dont fret my child
for she is here with me
she'll be here a long while
until it's your turn to see
she whispers your name
with a smile so bright
and says she'll say hello
when your asleep tonight
she'll whisper soft as the grass
and sweet as the sky
she'll see you for morning mass
with those beautiful big eyes
she says forever she'll stay with you
right by your side
until its your turn to come too"

Its good except the part that you closed your eyes with shame. that doesn't seem necessary.
