yes, its true. I worked there, they are a for profit retail store. The only thing they do is Employ the handicapped, which is hardly anyting o clap about, publix, winndixie and walmart do the same, but i dont see anyone flocking to those stores to donate anything to. Goodwill does NOT help the needy. They dont give anything away free, nothing. I just wanted it to be known because I always hear people tell others to go there for help.

I don't know where you heard this, but it certainly isn't true. It is a non-profit organization that provides job training and career services for those that are on welfare, disabled and dislocated job seekers. This doesn't necessarily involve employment at their stores, but at many businesses across the country.

duh, you take them your garbage and then they turn around and sell it like new, that place is a rip off
