Everyone should be treated with respect. But unless the other person has enough money to buy a separate household for you to be able to escape to, then sometimes a divorce is in order and go for half of the money and get your own space anyways. I hope that the person your talking about has enough self esteem to realize that kind of a relationship isn't healthy. And no all men are not like this, being in love with your spouse and respecting her for what she is and does should be good enough.

Ofcourse you need more than money !
Would you rather live without LOVE or without this money ?
One more option ......... : since he's never at home you can just cheat on him , right ? ;)
But seriously, if he treats you like sh*t everyday than your life with him ( with or without the money ) must be a pain. If I was you I'd run. Dump the nightmare and find my real soulmate.
Imagine yourself a few decades from now . Would you be fulfilled knowing that you have always had every material thing you wanted BUT got it from your enemy or would you rather look at your past knowing that you were always surrounded by friends , love and understanding ?

i don't think all of us men are like this, I'm not saying they aren't out there. the way i look at it money really shouldn't reflect on how someone treats you. sure its nice not to have to worry about bills. but you know what? if i had to chose between money and a best friend for life id take my girl.. we would make it thru the tuff times but we would have each other... you cant put a price on happiness... I'm not sure what your guys major malfunction is, but get out of that relationship, you don't need the stress, Ur not his slave and Ur not his maid.. Ur a person and you deserve to be treated like one.. i hope one of these days he comes home and you will have left him... then you can meet someone that treats you with respect, and smiles when they come home to you everyday, and trust me he will come your way... as far as the guy ur with, well lets say its time for a wake up call and pay back is a bit$h, good luck and God bless

All men aren't like that. I wouldn't stay, but everyone's situation is different. I have a friend going through a bad situation who is very physically ill and is trying to leave and I'm trying to be supportive, but she's having a hard time with it still. If you're in a bad situation I urge you to seek help and leave ASAP.

Not all men are mean, but they do worry about money because they want to take care of their families. Some are super critical and demanding.

If a man has money--------but is a damn nightmare to live with, I could care less about his money. Even if he was filthy rich, it wouldn't matter. Who would want to be with someone like that?

hell no... if my girl had money and could support us both without any problem but she wasnt fun to be around i would end the relationship.
and money is not the "basis" of all decisions, unless you are talking about business... when it comes to matters of the heart mind and soul are what used to weigh all decisions
