They go into labor whenever they go into Labor.

Everyone is different and every pregnancy is different.

Some women give birth in faster then it takes to get to the hospital and others need a C Section because of complications after over 15 hours of labor.

Sorry but things are never predictable or clockwork.

I wish I knew the answer to this question, perhaps I could retire! The woman will go into labor whenever the baby is ready, unless your OB/GYN has plans for the holiday's and decides to induce you:) Best wishes to you and yours.

I wish I also knew the answer to this one....My 2nd baby (a girl, this time)...Is due in 24 days (Jan. 9th)......my son who is 5 years old now....was 12 days early...and my labor with him was 10 hours...only felt the last 3 after the nurse broke my water...and I got an epidural an hour before he was born...I always heard that your first baby is usually on the due date of late...But...that wasn't what my son had in mind....
Right now with this one I am 1 cm dilated and 0% effaced (as of Wednesday)...I get another sonogram and my cervix checked on the 21st...so I will get to make better guesses.....
That's all we can do (us women, that are pregnant with our 2nd babies)...is guess....guess and wait....and wait and wait...
