Snow is generally assosciated with Christmas globally, but down here in Australia it's the middle of Summer when Christmas comes around. I was just wondering if there is anyone in the northern hempishpere who would prefer a warm Christmas?

***(We might get snow anyway, Melbourne is renowned for having 'four seasons in one day' and we had snow in the recent late spring, lol)

I prefer summer anytime!

But I'm from southern California, so our Christmas weather isn't really cold.

Whenever I think it would be nice the have White Christmas, I look up at the snow in the mountains and say, "Look snow. Up in the mountains where it belongs."

I'm spoiled by the snow, the peace, quiet and beauty of it. In the sunshine it looks like a field of glistening diamonds. Seeing it covering all the branches of the trees, the bushes, quite dramatic. The air is crisp and clean. It really puts me in the mood for Christmas, hot chocolate by the fire and hearing the neighbors jingle bells on their animals. I'm sure sunshine must be nice if you're used to it...but I'll pass thanks.

Nopers, I'm from Ireland and I like the mild winters. I just moved here to Canada and so far the winter has been really nice. Have never wanted to go to Australia, Christmas time or otherwise. :/
