Looking for an afforable place to rent in the Washington state, preferably an apartment, that would be an hour or less commute to work in Kirkland. Just wondering which city/town in Washington would be a good place to start looking?

To start out with, I would suggest living north of Kirkland. South of Kirkland (Bellevue) is a pretty expensive place to live and there is a lot of traffic. Bothell and Woodenville are pretty nice areas and the commute south to Kirkland is pretty good. So basically just look around areas north and northeast of Kirkland. I don't know where you are from, but rent is pretty expensive in all the places around Seattle.

= i'd be uncomplicated with you, DC secure and inexpensive do no longer go at the same time. you want to take some issues into interest. i'm no longer particular the position you're transferring from so i visit't somewhat say what is going to be low-cost to you. I grew up the following in between the worst factors of city in Southeast DC and then moved to Durham, NC for faculty. I moved lower back the following purely those days with my spouse and now stay in between the safest factors of city so i have been everywhere. DC is broken up into quadrants NE,SE,NW,SW and from there its damaged up into wards. Ward 7 is statistically the most crime-ridden with the utmost type of violent crimes. Thats the position I grew up. A a million-mattress room over there'll fee you round $800 a month. I now stay in Ward 2 that's in NW and is seen between the safest factors of city. The embassies are in this area and a good type of diplomats and nicely to do persons stay over the following. My a million-mattress room prices $1370 for 530 sq. ft. My lease is low for this section. maximum places initiate round 1700. you'll favor to stumble on a compromise if that's too intense to you and also you are able to favor to guage transferring out of the city and commuting (yet i do not recommend it in case you artwork contained in the city). I extensively utilized to stay in Ward 6 which has factors that are seen Capitol Hill and lease over there is about 1200 a month in some places. That section continues to be dealing with "gentrification" so that you'll locate some more inexpensive places. you are able to run into themes even with the undeniable fact that because a good type of apt homes have change into condos. there are a good type of row residences in this city so it truly is not uncommon for persons to employ out separate basements with their own the front/go out and no interplay from the owner. Columbia Heights is gentrifying too yet in my opinion, the crime somewhat hasnt lengthy gone down in that section so i'd ward off it for now, yet there are some more inexpensive places lower back for extra or less 1200 a month.
