how can you make a computer formatted disc into a DVD formatted one?

i got this disc by mail that contained some computer formatted movies but i want to play it in a dvd player. so how can i make it into a dvd formatted disk.if you could, could you tell me what i have to buy or if there is a program what website, etc thanks

It depends on what type of video's on them.

Generically speaking, you copy the movies onto your PC's HD, then you convert them into MPEG2s that fits DVD specs, then you author a DVD with those MPEG2 files.
