No I'm Assyrian, different from Syrian.

VI VI VI---you are correct, Assyrians live all over the world now, but Iraq (Mesopotamia) used to be theirs, but was taken over by invading Arabs. There are sadly only about 4 million Assyrians worldwide, due to persecution and Genocide.

I think Assyrian is different than Syrian, but Assyrian language and Assyrian people are also semitic, and their language are similar to Arabic and Aramaic, however, I thought that Assyrian people live in Arabic countries and there's no a specific country for Assyrian (please tell me if I'm right, I've never met an Assyrian person and I'm interested to know).
