If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.

The keys might have become jammed. Just lift the keyboard around six inches and let it drop down on the table. This will free up the keys.
Don't lift it too high and it might damage the keyboard.

I wonder how you typed the question. At least half of the letters you used were from the left side of the keyboard.
But anyway, just buy a new one--they are dirt cheap.

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY BRAIN FROM TIME TO TIME. IF ITS A LAPTOP YOU WILL NEED TO RESEAT IT AND THAT MEANS TAKING IT APART. 20-30 MINUTES ONCE YOU GET USED TO IT.

Too many cookie crumbs. Try shaking it upside down, but not over your head cuz dem crumbs will get in your perty little eyes.

Few wires are broken replace the cable if possible or else replace the keayboard.

maybe your shift key has been detached by the main board. try checking it underneath..
