hold the disc up to a light. of you can see light through the scratch, it is ruined and you need to buy a new CD

Go to an office supply store and buy a cd repair kit, it worked for me and are't that expensive.

you might want to be specific about what you are asking exactly. but if you are talking about trying to fix it. then try buying CD repair stuff.but if you are not talking about fixing it then i don't know what you are getting at.
