Why are women obsessed with shoes? Whats so addicting/fascinating about them?

I've always wanted to know why women are obsessed with shoes. I am a female myself, but I am not that interested in shoes like other women.

I can't tell you....I really don't know, but I do know that I am hopelessly addicted to them! In the last week, I have bought 1 pair of dansko boots, 1 pair of dansko clogs, 1 pair of birkenstock clogs, and 1 pair of ugg boots ( and no, they were not purchased for Christmas!) Wow...that's pretty out of control...I am binging....help....lol

Granted, I don't do that every week, but when I get my shoe jones on....there is obviously no stopping me! I am always in the market for a good shoe! My mother has the same affliction!

not all women are obseesed with shoes but the women who are probably want their shoes to mach or just like shopping for shoes but i really wouldent say they were that much obsessed

we find them relally cuute & we try matching outfits with them to make us loook cute because we want to loook cute. i mean i`m realllly into shoes myself, but after i tried thinking about how i`m going to explain whyyy i find them soo fascinating .. i can`t really tell you whyy and i don`t relally have an answer.

shoes always fit! If we gain a few pounds, have a bad hair day, our face breaks out or we have bags under our eyes...........we still have shoes!!!!!!!!!!!

i like women who prefer to wear skirts and dresses or suits....ya gotta have plenty of shoes for them :)

It's fun to try on shoes that look ridiculous or that you can't walk in, because it kind or reminds me of when I used to play dress-up... I dunno. xD
