Define your "cramps" a little better...
did they start out feeling a little like your menstrual cramps? and then start getting a little stronger? are they coming and going? at a regular frequency? or at random?

When I was pregnant with my first child, I started getting "crampy", ate Burger King for lunch with friends, still only felt like menstrual cramps, went home and after a little while I realized they were coming in kind of timed intervals, so I asked my husband to keep time for me, I was going to take a shower..(If I was going into labor , I wanted to feel clean, blow dry my hair and put makeup on..lol.. I didn't want to look like those women in the videos)
as I was calling out they started coming faster and before I was done they were about 5 minutes apart and I thought .. hmm I should call my doctor and see what he says.... they didn't hurt that bad and from all that I heard about labor pain this couldn't be it...lol... he told me to get in the car NOW and get to his office which was closer than the hospital...

yes..I WAS in labor and when it really got going it REALLY hurt...

so keep timing them, and if you have ANY doubts, call your OB/GYN that's what they make all that money for girl!

I am assuming you intended that you're 12 and part weeks pregnant. NOT 12 years historical and part per week pregnant. That's why folks are being impolite on right here, they do not have an understanding of your query. Anyways, it is average to be crampy like that each and every as soon as in a whilst. If it persists or worsens, take a shuttle to the medical professionals' workplace. It will not do any harm, and it'll positioned your brain cozy to grasp the whole thing is fine. Plus you'll be able to ask the health care professional all of the ones forms of questions. Good good fortune!

You could be having Braxton Hicks contractions (the sharp pains that last a few seconds) if the pains aren't getting stonger, longer and closer together then it is probably just your uterus getting ready for labour. If you are worried then you should call your doctor or midwife.

Could be labor pains.......Sounds to me like baby is doing it's best to let you know it is ready to come on down..........If the pains don't stop or get more frequent, get to the hospital, my dear, you are about to have a new addition to the family......Take care.........
