Will Microsoft ever come out with a Xbox portable. I have heard several rumors of a Xbox 180 portable system but is this true. One thing is for sure though if Microsoft did come out with a Xbox portable it would kill the PSP and DS. BUT WILL THEIR EVER BE A XBOX PORTBLE

It's a rumor, but it could be true. MS has been very hush-hush when asked if there's a XBX portable in development. MS hasn't denied it, and it hasn't confirmed it. But if it's true, it's still very early in the development stages.
It's going to be a tough battle for MS to take over the Nintendo DS. Nintendo has owned the handheld market since the first game boy was introduced, and it doesn't look like Nintendo is going to give up the crown that easily.

Xbox portable wouldn't kill the DS or PSP unless it offers something that the others don't, and have a pretty incredible line up of games. Nintendo always will dominate the handhelds with all of their great hand held games. They might do pretty well in the handheld industry, but I seriously doubt they can beat nintendo. Sony can't even beat them. I do think that Microsoft will come out with a handheld. They came out with an MP3 player called Zune that has to potential to beat the crap out of the Ipod, they probably will be able to come up with a decent portable gaming system.

iv heard about it too...except i read in an Xbox forum that it was called the Xbox 100 and it was built like a small laptop...it is said to have a Microsoft program similar to Windows and it plays computer, xbox 360, and xbox games

companys will placed out as lots junk as they think of the marketplace can help (not that the psp is junk) if microsoft thinks the handheld interest equipment marketplace can help yet another participant.. they're going to leap into it... and sony will definatly placed out yet another handheld in the event that they have faith they might save or earnings a number of Nintendo's marketplace.... yet In my oppinion... if microsoft and sony the two releas a handheld equipment @ the comparable widespread time (interior of a 12 months or so of the different if sony releases a psp2) i think of that they are going to in basic terms b splitting the rather small bite of the "Pie" that sonys been able to scrape together... handheld is nintendo city and in the event that they combat to go in on it with a flashy spendy equipment odds are sony and MS's hand helds will do slightly combat to the death for that tiny sliver of the handheld marketplace.
