Most of them look ghastly - barely human. Girls aged about 4-6 look sooo adorable though. No tacky jokes please!

Nope. Nothin' wrong with you. I just had a kid (didn't keep it) and I have NEVER found babies cute. They're so....chubby. (not that I have anything against weight). It's also probably the junk that comes with them. The diapers, the noise, the attention... it sounds like it'll suck you dry and that's before even being sure. I saw mine at the nursery a couple of days ago and it scared me really bad that for a moment I almost thought she was kinda cute ('cept she was more the size and figure of a 2-month old than a 2-day old). Either way - yeah, once kids hit 4-5 yrs old it's cool. They begin to be kinda cute at that point. Not everyone's a baby person. Just figure it this way - if someone can go and HAVE a baby and still think it's not cute in a creepy way - there's nothing wrong with you. Seriously. Ignore the others that give you nasty comments. They don't know the insider's feeling, how can they judge properly?

I did find my daughter adorable at all tiny ages, because she was. That's a good example of biological programming at its best. We must rejoice in it, for without it wolves would have finished off the human race before it had chance to begin. The odds are pitted heavily against the newborn human, and it needs at least one thoroughly- programmed parent in order to survive the first 10 years of life.

I have a 7 month old and frankly, I think most newborns look a little alien-like. It's something about how fragile they look, the loose skin, the baldness, the baby acne, and the vacant stare that they have before they have learned to smile. Once they hit like 3 or 4 months though and start to fill out, most of them get really cute. And learning to smile helps too.

Babies are cute, full stop. You have entered the wrong topic here, stay away if the baby section doesn't particularly amuse you. And to say that babies look barely HUMAN and that MOST of them look GHASTLY is pretty sad (this is an understatement). You need help, or mix with baby animals, maybe you'd prefer different species.

Babies are gorgeous have u noticed that babies have huge eyes. Have you also noticed that all Disney characters also have huge eyes well they are modelled on the look of babies. Babies are the most beautiful creatures on this planet and represent so much

Newborn babies are often very ugly. After about a week they start to look a lot nicer.

Some are ugly, some are not- just like people really.
I think people just say "ooh he's lovely" just to be polite. It really doesn't go down well to say" yuck what a hideous creature,is It human?"

I THINK THE EXACT SAME THING!!!!!
no matter how people ooh and ahh over them, babies are always tooooo fat! everytime I look at them i see time and effort! changing diapers, burping the thing, it spitting up on me! not fun!!!! and yes 4-6 girls and sometimes boys are really cute just not babies!! my mom says that when I have my own child it will be different! whatever! lol!

No your not the only one. I'm 28 and I don't have any maternal instincts. I don't find babies cute, infact I don't like kids in general. They're too expensive and they run you ragged! Not for me I'm afraid! I have a life!
Oh and your beard looks cool!
