20-year-old Tara Conner, also known as Miss USA, may end up losing her crown due to her partying in New York bars! If she does lose it then first runner up, Miss California, will take the title of Miss USA!
Holy moly!
Do you think she will lose it?

It's not the Ms. America pageant it's the Miss USA pageant and I CARE
YES they still have these pageants and they are NOT silly.
I agree that the standards for the titleholders are high, but it's illegal for her to go out to bars and stuff anyways because she isn't 21 yet.

Tara still is STILL Miss USA she has not lost her crown *yet* this "situation" may be just one big understanding, so the case is under investigation, so Miss California is STILL Miss California (for now) and she is not yet Miss USA.

We now know that Trump is not going to take her crown.
However, she should have voluntarily given it up.
Trump not taking her title away was easy to predict.
Of course, I suppose Miss California must be scratching her head right about now.
What kind of example and precedent does this set for future Miss USA hopefuls?
Of course, nothing's changed in terms of the actual reason Tara won the contest (bathing suit). Yeah, she's a tramp, and an alcoholic, but then again, she said she was sorry (that she got caught, that is)...
Plus, it's not even her fault...it's New York's fault! Didn't you hear Trump today? He blamed it on New York. This poor girl from Kentucky had no chance.
If pageants like this were not stupid and meaningless before, Trump has now officially made them so.
In a related story, Vanessa Williams obviously entered the wrong contest. She should have opted for the one with no standards.

Because she was drinking underage and clubbing around. These things do not go over well with Miss America. It is up to Donald Trump tho, he can issue a warning and also he could strip her of her crown. I haven't heard anything further on the matter yet, he may have already made his decision. Keep watching the news and the entertainment networks!

It was announced today that she will keep her crown. I think she should have done the right thing by giving it up instead of having it possibly taken from her. She failed a drug test. She was caught drinking when she was underage. The most graceful thing left for her to do was to relinquish the crown.
In allowing her to keep her crown, Trump said he believed in second chances. Yes, that's nice. And that second chance should include helping her get to rehab but still take away the crown. There has to be consequences for bad decisions and actions. That is what's wrong with society these days. No consequences and no one taking responsibility.

Well its really not a big deal for anyone who actually saw the pageant. It was CLEAR that Miss California was the winner. And I'm sure Miss California would have done a much better job at Miss Universe than Miss USA did this year.

Trump said she's allowed to keep her crown. She's a drunk and a drug user. Nice role model and it's all the "big bad city's" fault. Miss USA is in rehab. She should be Miss MTV Real World.

I hope not and I think the Ms. USA pageant committee has taken things a little to far on their restrictions!

Dump the biotch. She has a great opportunity based only on her looks. If she doesnt know a good thing then she needs to have the tiara ripped from her dumb blonde head and given to someone who will appreciate the responsibilities of the gift.

I'm barfing as I watch the little moron cry and blubber with Trump defending her. I think she should have been canned, not honored and sent to a fancy drug rehab center. Actions = no consequences these days. I'm disgusted. If I hear her sobbing and whining again I'll throw something at the TV

You mean they still hold that silly contest ? I never did see the point of it anyway. Yeah, she'll loose the crown and slip back to the obscurity from whence she came.
