Family like everyone else. Growing up we didn't have much it was always a stress full time money wise for everyone. But we always had the family we'd always get together.
But on the other hand now that I'm grown up my family is in different states, so for Christmas it's just us, we share it with close friends, I can't give the kids what I had, but I can get them the gifts I wasn't ever able to get as a kid. And honestly I don't care if i get even one gift, as long I get to watch the kids open up the gifts they got and see how happy they are.
It's nice to be able to give them what I couldn't have, but I do wish i could give them what I had also
It's a trade off, of sorts I know. But when you just can't have it all, you make due with what you do have.

Family, I was away for Xmas once and everyone sent me gifts. But I would have traded them all in just the be home..

family,they are great , i always have mine around. Although I love to give gifts out that is so fun, it want to suggest to everyone this year that we quit bying for the adults in our family and just start bying only for the kids, because it is so much more enjoyable to give to the kids!!!!!!!!(besides it's all about the kids right?)We would have so much more money to spend on them,it would be so cool!!And about GOD too.We would still have to by for our parents to that just wouldn't be right not to after they bought for us so many years!!

Family, my husband works all the time so when we have holidays together it's doubly special. Plus, having kids really makes holidays fun more than anything. Everything is so new and special to them.

as my 6 yr old son says, family is most important and the memories we share (sounds like I'm being set up for something doesn't it ??) LOL
but mom, getting the gifts is always ok too.

everybody should prefer family because x-mas isnt just presents its about having a good time with family and friends
