Being in Love means, you are in a state when you love something. It can be you love someone opposite sex, that's sexual love. Being in love with something is that you want that thing very much and you are willing to do anything to get that.
There is also being in love with God which is the real and genuine love, the Love of God which never fails. All love are temporal which will end someday but the Love of God never ends.
