They're cheap and disposable and bend eadily. They go under the burner and keep the round bowls from getting ruined.

those aren't a good idea, the wrinkly finish creates hot spots on the element and cause them to burn out faster. these days you can get new pans fairly cheap at home improvement stores. they come in two styles, g.e., and all other stoves. get the black porcelain ones, they don't show the drips as much, and they cost a lot less than a new element. the only tin pans i would recommend is the cookie sheet type for the bottom of the oven as they are fairly rigid and smooth.

Here in Erie, PA you can find them at Family Dollar, Dollar General, Walmart or most any place that has a kitchen gadget section
