No matter how clear our understanding of right and wrong, we will always have conflict, because different people have different points of view.

Hmmm...(I'm getting weary but let's try!) Cut some words & approach from the end--how about--Advances in knowledge will never reconcile conflicts of values & principles. That's awful, isn't it? But I do think editing out some words would help! Hope someone will do better for you!
