I have looked for the specific reason but nowhere, not even wikipedia, explained the main reason he left because I know the WWE was shocked he left becaus Vince really liked his character and if he stayed he might have been more sucessful than Edge, because they are about equally as good, plus he was great at cutting promos. Does anybody know?

He said he was being treated like a mid card superstar. He said when he used to travel he could not sit in the section with all top carder superstars. Also he was not getting the push he wanted. He was smart going to tna after what vince was doing to him

I don't know why, but I liked him and Edge together as a tag team. I like that Edge better than the type of character he is portraying now.

He was feeling that the WWE wouldn't give him the respect and money he thinks he deserves so when his contract expired TNA offered him one with everything he wanted so WWE let him go and TNA hired him.

Probably because TNA promised him more money and the title, and Vince can't give that to him.
