The 2nd power is the lowest common multiple. You have to take each expression, and see what they all have in common. Since every expression has a different power higher than 2, the answer is the 2nd power.

Find the least common multiple of:

(1) 3t^6, w^6, t^2
(2) w^4, x^3


For (1), the least common multiple is 3t^6w^6
For (2), the least common multiple is w^4x^3
