Well, let's say you're right about who paid for the bulk of my education (even though you are wrong).
Education is the one thing conservatives should and do support, since it is the key to avoiding poverty.

come on everyone!!!! I think this person is making the mistake of assuming that public colleges, by being taxpay subsidized are somehow making it that much cheaper for us to go to college. In this manner the person asking would be somewhat correct, if the actual cost of college from one private school compared to one public school was really that different and not just a matter of mark up at the private school. Add the fact that if you live and work in the state you go to public college in, you then repay some of those same costs through YOUR taxes, even while still in school AND still having to pay the student loans off when your done. Liberals make the mistake of thinking they invented education, when in reality it was bussiness conservatives desire to make sure their sons were educated well enough to take over the family business that compelled them to fund and build the great universities throughout history. Only problem is that the parasite liberals all got into these universities....AS FACULTY!!!!

ask a question about education and all of a sudden all the "conservatives love education" folks come out of the woodwork?
where have you guys been?
and apparently, some people don't understand that for state colleges tuition only covers a part of your educational cost and the state and federal government both chip in (and local to a much lesser degree usually)... so, unless it was private, no you didn't pay for your schooling all by yourself...
but many conservatives are against any government funding of education and I'm assuming this is who the question is talking too...
and "we pay taxes" could be an excuse to do anything that conservatives talk against... pretty weak defense...

Leeds college of music or London college of trend in England. BQ: i favor to be a music producer or get a pastime in trend layout (: i love the humanities. the hardest section is determining on which one you want to do. i began searching into faculties at the same time as i replaced into 15. that's under no circumstances too early, because you may save your concepts open and word what number stuff there are to do :)

I'm using the benefits that I've earned being in the military...tuition assistance and the GI Bill for my Education.
Not sure what kind of school Columbia College is, though.
But I'm Independent, so I'm not sure I'm qualified to answer based on your question's criteria.

Such an idiotic question about something you obviously don't understand. Conservatives want "smaller" government, not "small" government. They don't want a wellfare state, they want people to be self dependent. Does that mean we drop people off with a pair of shoes and twenty dollars and say "hey good luck?" No.

No one paid for my education except me. Can you say the same?
People get there education paid for in any way they can, and then
pay it back or in some cases pay it forward.
Do some research before you run off at the mouth.
MERRY CHRISTMAS and have a nice day.
Thank you very much, while you're up!!!!!!!

Yep, I sure love all the help that I am getting. All zero dollars in grants, scholarships, etc. I am paying for my college 100% in loans.
