Because he's living in some cyber land fantasy that some woman out there thinks he is the answer to a woman's prayer, when in fact, he's probably just filling in the time between Slingo games. As long as he's at the keyboard, you know where he is! Let me guess, he's over, let's say, 35, and you two aren't exactly doing the Wamsutta Ballet (wink, wink) as often as you once did? Am I close?

Besides the obvious, it could be many things....a dear friend or loved one battling health problems, or any number of other innocent reasons.
Ask him and see how he responds, or keep a close eye on things for a little while first.
Try not to jump to the worst possible scenerio. How many times have we all done that, gotten upset, and then find out we are wrong?
