Believe it or not you can try the oxi-clean. Make a paste, it is non toxic and has no fumes or oder to distrub your asthma.

Great answers so far, but once it is clean, you might want to try preventing the mold/mildew from re-occuring with a high-end air purifier. I bought one and I love it...it keeps my indoor air fresh and clean and reduces dust and mold in my house which also helps my allergies. I bought it from Environmental Planning Solutions:

Try vinegar, 100% white vinegar scrubbed into the grout with a brush. Wiped across the tiles, this will also remove soap scum.

What about other cleaners like CLR or Lime Away?
If worse comes to worst, you could always hire someone else to clean it for you? Also, I get allergy shots one a week for my allergies...but I don't know about bleach. Have you tried getting treatment?

keep a sprig bottle of one million/2 bleach, a million/2 water answer on your bathe. Spray the project section nicely at the same time as bathe is dry and them spray it off after a jiffy. After that, spray it gently each and each and every time you get out of the bathe, at the same time as the bathe continues to be moist. this can eliminate the present mould and keep new mould away. careful...bleach is slippery.

Mould on shower grout is not going to affect your asthma. Replace or get rid of the bathmat instead. Or wet laudry, etc. Guaranteed it's not the grout, because if you can't scrub it off with a brush, it's obviously not leaping off by itself to invade your lungs. If you don't like the look of it, spray it with bleach out of a small spray bottle.

I use a portable steamer (The Europro) and it works great. We even do windows with it.
