I have three nipples and I have heard it was normal and looked it up and sounds pretty normal. I was just wondering if it is very common to have 3 nipples and if anyone responding to this has 3 or more nipples?

the third one is not a fully developed nipple by the way..its just a nub...no areolla...it's not like I have three boobs..damn!

Yes it is normal to have a third nipple; it is described in about 2% of women; it is not abnormal to find a third nipple in men too, although less common.
It is called, a supernumerary nipple, also known as accessory nipple, polythelia or polymastia.
By the way, polymastia or third or additional breast/mammary gland is also a known entity.
It is not anything to worry about.
I have so far, seen two individuals; one with a third nipple and another with a third 'rudimentary' breast as well.

Yes, it is normal. My mother is a nurse, and you wouldn't believe the amount of people who have three. For the people who don't understand, it isn't like three fully developed nipples, and from the ones I have seen you can't even tell that is what it is. But, yes, it is extremely normal!

I have a couple friends that have 3. I used to date a guy that had 6! three rows of two going down the front of his chest. It's not "normal" but not uncommon, many people have "extras" but you'd never know it because many times they are just mistaken for a mole.

i have 3 myself .when i was younger it was kinda embarrassing. but as i got older it was pretty cool...because i was different from all my peers..plus i was pretty big in other areas for my little short self...lol...oh!! plus when i saw a James Bond movie!!!and he had 3 nipples... i was really cool then...im still reminded by friends that know about it.. to this day.....it might sound crazy, but it was a self esteem booster for me... The Girls loved it..

Not normal, but not uncommon. I went to High School with a family of girls who all had extra nipples.No big deal.
