yes,it is entirely possible to get HIV in ANY RESTAURANT,including fast-food places.if said cook cuts his finger and one drop, just one drop, gets on his or her workplace then you can get what is called cross-contaminated food!which means you CAN catch HIV from it.i am a five-star chef and a tattoo artist,so i should know bout cross-contamination,and airbourne and bloodbourne pathigens. thanks your friend nicole2006

Highly unlikely. The HIV is a very weak virus and cannot live long outside the human body and is easily killed off. It is likely that just the heat from the fast food would be enough to kill off the HIV before it could infect you. Not to mention, should any of it still be alive while you were eating, the hydrocloric acid in your stomach would kill it off before it could infect you.

NO. It can not happen. The virus for HIV can only live in body fluids at human body temperature. Anything added to external food will not contain viable virus.
All of those other things you mentioned as examples are just stupid stories that were made up by people suffering from a large dose of ignorance.

No. And as for being a tattoo artist who should know (above); you should also know how to spell blood borne and also the word pathogens.
You cannot get it except through direct contact with bodily fluids and by the time it hits the air and hits the virus, it is dead. And yes, stomach acids would kill it off. There have been NO cases of it being transmitted through food or restaurants.
Here is proof:
http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/resources/qa/hoax1.htm
I remember reading in the paper, however, about someone finding a bit of torn condom in their clam chowder. That would creep me out; but there is still no alarm about HIV.

well if an evil HIV positive worker you personally insulted decided to jerk off on your hamburger after he cooked it...
very UNLIKELY but maybe. i dont think that people that evil exist but hey i live in optomistic disneyland.
be nice your local mcdonalds workers and i am sure you will be fine.
I highly doubt that anyone will whip out ol' willy and take the trouble to add special sauce unless you are the king of a$$holes to them.
dont sit around worrying and if you really are that worried go put on your tinfoil hat and sit at home and eat tofu cake and stop making dumb teenage girls scared.

The virus gets killed with exposure to air and to cooking. So HIV infection through food isn't very probable.
